The Atrax
The Atrax – Robot Spider
Great that the Atrax is alive and running all over the place. Hope the Teddy is OK after it was poked.
The Atrax is a 3 DOF Australian Funnel Web Spider inspired robot, that is mainly wooden made. The parts are cut from a 3 mm plywood plate with a Dremel saw. 27 servos are dispatched as follows: 24 for legs, 2 for fangs and 1 for the abdomen.
Everything else (servos, erectors, electronics, ..) are supplied by Lynxmotion.
